NLIU LAW REVIEW

About NLIU Law Review

The NLIU Law Review is the flagship journal of National Law Institute University, Bhopal, published bi-annually by the students of the University. It is a peer-reviewed academic law journal which aims to inculcate a culture of academic research and writing among students, and serve as an important forum for discourse on contemporary and pressing legal issues. The Law Review does not restrict itself to any particular area of law and welcomes contributions from all fields of law. As of the year 2022, the Law Review has completed twelve successful years, with seventeen editions in publication.

The NLIU Law Review engages students throughout the publication process, such that a majority of the editing, managerial and organizational work is undertaken by the student body of the journal. Given the opportunities it provides to the student community, the journal has a direct bearing on the research-oriented goals that the institution envisages to meet. Apart from publishing two issues of the journal on an annual basis, the NLIU Law Review hosts a number of events throughout the year such as –

• The NLIU-India Foundation Constitutional Law Symposium
• Workshops on legal writing
• Discussions on contemporary legal issues

The NLIU Law Review, on behalf of the University, has time and again collaborated with eminent lawyers, law firms, media persons, etc. to enhance the quality of the publication as well as customize the experiences of the participants at events organised by the student body of the journal. Our present collaborators include India Foundation, SCC Online, Eastern Book Company, Live Law, Bar & Bench and so on.
