We are delighted to announce the 3rd NLIU Agreement Drafting and Presentation Competition which will be organised by the NLIU Law Review on February 06 and 07, 2026 at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal in collaboration with Saraf and Partners.

About the Competition

There are two phases of the Competition. Phase I of the Competition would require participants to draft an Agreement based on the Contract Proposition provided, and subsequently, the top fifteen entries would reach Phase II of the Competition, which would comprise the Presentation of their Agreements which would be assessed by a panel of esteemed dignitaries.

Registration

The participants may register in a team of two or individually. Individual Participation Fee is INR 300 and Co-authorship Participation Fee is INR 500.

Release of Competition: December 15, 2025
Last Date to Seek Clarifications: December 27, 2025
Closure of Registrations: December 31, 2025
Release of Clarifications: January 05, 2026
Submission Deadline for Phase-I: January 09, 2026
Announcement of Top Entries: January 15, 2026
Presentation and Phase-II of the Competition at NLIU, Bhopal: February 06–07, 2026
